Now I reach for Sunlight, because light coverage is all I need. Beautifully Flawless is what I point you to when you want full coverage that still feels lightweight. It is also formulated with sensitive skin in mind. Its mineral pigments are of high purity, not sourced from China, and tested for heavy metals with outstanding results. Full coverage without the heavy feel

Beautifully Flawless is a full-coverage liquid foundation that stays lightweight on your skin. The finish sits right between satin and semi-matte. It contains no essential oils and is formulated with sensitive skin in mind.

Two easy ways to adjust it: for a dewy effect, add Crunchi Highlighter; for lighter coverage, use less than one pump with the No. 1 Crunchi Makeup Brush, or reach for Crunchi Sunlight Tinted SPF 30 instead.

The ingredients that stand out

  • High purity mineral pigments, not sourced from China and tested for heavy metals with outstanding results.
  • Tremella Fuciformis (snow mushroom) extract, which helps reduce wrinkles by increasing superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzyme that fights free radicals.
  • A recyclable glass bottle with a 100% BPA-free and phthalate-free pump.

Getting your shade right

The foundation comes in 11 shades. Not sure which one is yours? Email me a photo taken in natural light without makeup, and I will help you choose your tone. My own shade is 2.5, for reference.

Beautifully Flawless vs. Sunlight Tinted SPF 30

  • Pick Beautifully Flawless when you want full, buildable coverage with a satin to semi-matte look.
  • Pick Sunlight Tinted SPF 30 when you want light coverage, a dewy finish, and SPF in one step.
  • Their ingredient highlights differ too: this foundation leans on organic aloe, plant glycerin, and snow mushroom, while Sunlight leans on non-nano zinc oxide, plant squalane, and stable vitamin C.

That second option is the one that won me over. I switched to Sunlight when it launched, simply because full coverage is more than my skin needs.

Why Crunchi earned my endorsement

Crunchi is one of the very few brands whose entire line I have studied ingredient by ingredient, and I endorse all of their makeup and skincare. Every product is cruelty-free and vegan (the one exception is the Hydrogloss Lip Oil, which uses organic beeswax). Independent testing covered by Environmental Health News found no detectable organic fluorine, the marker used to screen for PFAS, in the Crunchi products tested.
