Your Savvy Consumer Superpower
You need a better way to shop for shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cream, foundations, makeup, sunscreen, or other cosmetic products!
This E-book will teach you a SUPER EASY method to estimate the safety of a product in seconds!
Here’s The Problem…
But that’s not even the worst part…
Sadly, there is little protection for consumers by the US government.
Over 10,000 ingredients are used in cosmetic and personal care products, but under the FD&C Act, from 1938 – 2016, the FDA banned only 11 ingredients from being used in cosmetic products.
Most importantly, neither the FD&C Act nor the FDA requires cosmetic products or ingredients to be tested for safety before they are sold to consumers! What’s worse…the FDA does not have any authority to recall products that numerous people complain about.
For example, if the FDA knows that a product causes allergic reactions in a large number of people, the FDA cannot ban or recall the product. The only way to make a change is by implementing class action lawsuits.
even the FDA warns that the term “hypoallergenic” is not defined or regulated, thus, “consumers have no assurance that such claims are valid.”
The average American woman puts over 168 chemicals on her body every day and many of those chemicals are linked to cancer, infertility, miscarriage, poor infant and maternal health outcomes, obesity, asthma, sensitization, allergic reactions, and many other serious health concerns.
Furthermore, anybody can start selling skincare and beauty products – literally, anyone! Even people without any education in the field of ingredient safety and ingredient contaminants. Then they go and write blogs contributing to the misinformation on the Internet.
So what are you to do?

Hi, I’m Irina
I have been studying product ingredients since 2012. I used my 9 years of college and postgraduate education to become a full-time consumer product researcher, educator, and product manufacturer ingredient safety adviser.
I Read Labels For You considers what chemists, toxicologists, medical providers, nutritionists, and cosmetologists are saying on the Internet, and we base our product reviews on scientific and medical studies as well as our knowledge of how products are made and understanding hazards versus risks.
Today, product manufacturers come to me for advice on which ingredients to choose to make their products safe. Likewise, I work with retailers to advise them on which products are safe enough to sell.
