Both shampoos share the same gentle base. Aloe leaf juice comes first, before water. They clean with lauryl glucoside and coco-glucoside, which are made from sugar and coconut, plus disodium cocoyl glutamate, a mild cleanser made from an amino acid. There are no sulfates, no phenoxyethanol, and no parabens.
Both formulas also contain fermented rice water, reishi & chaga mushrooms, ginseng, and RINGANA’s NBC7 complex of seven prebiotic and postbiotic ingredients. Both shampoos are pH-balanced.
FRESH Repair Shampoo: For Damaged, Dry, or Color-Treated Hair
Repair is made for damaged, color-treated, or dry hair. It’s designed to strengthen hair, smooth the look of split ends, and reduce frizz.
FRESH Repair Shampoo Hero ingredients:
- Vegan proteins and arginine: help condition hair and leave it looking healthier, stronger, and more resilient.
- Mushroom extract complex: derived from reishi, shiitake, chaga, umbrella polypore, and turkey tail mushrooms, it helps protect and strengthen the hair.
- Fermented rice water: contains amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. It helps enhance shine and softness, reduce hair breakage, and temporarily seals split ends.
- NBC7 complex: contains seven pre- and postbiotic ingredients that provide moisture and radiant shine.

Volume is made for hair that needs more body. It’s designed to strengthen hair and give it more body and bounce. It’s also suitable for curly hair.
FRESH Volume Shampoo Hero ingredients:
- Mushroom extract complex: a blend of reishi, shiitake, chaga, and snow fungus helps protect and strengthen hair length. Snow fungus, an antioxidant ingredient, helps detangle hair, leaving it soft and smooth.
- Plant extracts: a botanical blend of Asian ginseng, psyllium, white dead-nettle, and silver linden helps strengthen hair while leaving it looking fuller and more voluminous.
- Fermented rice water: contains amino acids, vitamins, and minerals to help enhance shine and softness, reduce hair breakage, and temporarily seal split ends.
- Pea protein: helps condition hair and leaves it looking healthier, stronger, and more resilient.

What Studies Show
RINGANA tested both shampoos with five hairdressers. Participants washed their hair once, with optional conditioner, and then rated the results:
- FRESH Repair (56 people): 100% said their hair looked nourished and shiny, 80% said it felt smooth and soft, and 80% said it was easy to comb.
- FRESH Volume (45 people): 100% said their hair felt strong and full, 80% said it had visibly more volume, and 75% said it looked shiny.
How To Use
- Massage into wet hair, leave on briefly, and rinse well. Repeat if you’d like an extra boost. A small amount is enough.
- For softer, easier-to-manage hair, follow with FRESH Conditioner & Leave-In.
- Avoid contact with your eyes. If it gets in, rinse right away with plenty of water.
