There are several reasons I keep coming back to Pure Haven shampoos and conditioners.
First, the scent is soft and subtle, which works well for me. Strongly scented hair products can easily become overwhelming, especially if you have a sensitive scalp or are sensitive to fragrance in general.
Second, these shampoos clean my hair without causing irritation. My scalp feels comfortable, and my hair looks healthier, shinier, and more voluminous after using them consistently.
I also appreciate their choice of cleansing ingredients. Pure Haven mainly uses glucosides, which are considered some of the gentlest surfactants used in haircare products today.
Their preservative systems align with ECOCERT/COSMOS standards for natural and organic products, which is another plus in my opinion.
Additionally, they avoid quaternary ammonium compounds, ingredients I personally prefer to minimize in haircare.
The formulas also contain nourishing organic oils and plant extracts that help support both the scalp and hair.
Another thing that stands out to me is their manufacturing approach.
Pure Haven produces its products in its own certified organic facility, which allows the company to oversee the entire process closely, including water quality, sanitation, and batch testing.
They also require third-party testing for contaminants such as heavy metals, PFAS, and benzene.
Overall, I consider Pure Haven a thoughtful and safety-conscious company, and I appreciate that they are open to ingredient and formulation feedback.
