In May 2020, the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) and Clean Label Project (CLP) published test results of 28 collagen products. Their tests revealing that some of the most popular collagen products contain measurable amounts of lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic. You can view the full report by clicking here.
Perfect Hydrolyzed Collagen was included in the test and showed no lead, mercury, or cadmium. I also like the fact that Perfect Supplements publish their 3rd party test reports on the website. They also tested the collagen for glyphosate. The collagen is made of pasture-raised and grass-fed cows. It is hydrolyzed, which is the most digestible and absorbable form. Also, there are no additives of any kind in this hydrolyzed collagen.
Based on the 3rd party test reports Perfect Supplements provided, I approved the following products:
Pasture-Raised Type II Collagen Powder
Pasture-Raised Desiccated Liver Powder
