Best: Crunchi Powerlight Eye Cream
This is the eye cream I use and love. It has been clinically tested to be non-irritating for the eyes. To minimize the risk of sensitivity, it does not contain any essential oils. Plus, both the jar and the lid are made of glass.
Most plant ingredients are organic. Importantly, it is laden with superstar ingredients, especially popular with anti-aging skincare, that work together to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as minimize under-eye circles and discoloration. Namely, they include:
- niacinamide (vitamin B3)
- organic green tea
- hyaluronic acid
- vitamin C
- squalane, and
- palmitoyl tripeptide-38.

Best: Pure Haven Refresh Eye Cream with Pre+Probiotics
This is my second-best choice. Pure Haven says its “clinically proven ingredients promise results after only 14 days.” Also, it comes in an amber glass bottle made from recycled materials.
The botanical ingredients are organic. In addition, Pure Haven eye cream features probiotic lactobacillus ferment lysate filtrate to bring the skin to a healthy balance and is enriched with prebiotic inulin to feed the probiotic. The ingredients that work together to awaken and rejuvenate the eye area as well as help combat dark circles and puffiness are as follows:
- jasmine and hawthorn white flowers
- green tea extract
- pomegranate extracts, and
- caffeine.
You can buy it on the Pure Haven website. To learn more about Pure Haven and how it compares to Lemongrass Spa, Melaleuca, Mary Kay, Farmasi, and Rodan & Fields, visit my Pure Haven Review.
Almost best: Acure Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream
I do not see any concerning ingredients in this affordable eye cream. It is in the “almost best” category because it falls short of the rejuvenating ingredients in Crunchi.
Nevertheless, I like the fact that many plant oils and extracts in Acure eye cream are organic. This should reduce the risk of pesticide and herbicide residues. Also, the presence of cocoa butter, argan oil, and ubiquinone (CoQ10) should make it hydrating for the around-eye area.
Almost best: Beauty by Earth Coffee Bean Eye Cream
This is another affordable option with safe ingredients. The only beneficial ingredient for the eye skin that I see, though, is the coffee seed extract that is supposed to help you with puffiness. In addition, it contains essential oils (coffee and jasmine), so if you are trying to avoid products with essential oils, Beauty by Earth eye cream is not for you.

Almost best: Beautycounter Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream
While there are no major ingredients of concern, the only beneficial ingredient for the eye skin that I see is squalane. Also, the botanicals are not organic (except sunflower oil) and there is salicylic acid that can be a potential skin sensitizer.
You can buy this eye cream on the Beautycounter website. To learn more about this brand and what I think about it, head over to My Honest Beautycounter Review.
Almost best: Beautycounter Countertime Ultra Renewal Eye Cream
The beneficial ingredients for the eye skin are squalane and bakuchiol (plant-based vitamin A). However, the botanicals are not organic. Also, it contains sodium acrylates copolymer, and some people may be sensitive to acrylates.

Almost best: Mad Hippie Eye Cream
This affordable toxin-free eye cream is in the “almost best” category because its plant oils and extracts are not organic, and I wish they were because this could reduce the risk of pesticide and herbicide contamination as well as confirm that the sub ingredients inside the extracts and oils are the safest possible.
Also, out of the abundance of caution, I prefer products without microcrystalline cellulose because there is some evidence that it may be in the nano form.
On the other hand, Mad Hippie eye cream contains collagen-stimulating peptides, niacinamide, squalane, caffeine, and vitamin C to help reduce wrinkles and discoloration.
