Beautycounter foundation provides medium coverage, contains no essential oils, and uses only mineral pigments. It does not have synthetic pigments or dyes that could have contaminants associated with petroleum. I appreciate the fact that the company tests for heavy metals and discloses some test reports. Note that some other Beautycounter products are formulated with phenoxyethanol, which I do not recommend.
