2020 Diaper Rating List E-Book

The components of 22 diapers are rated so you can get more sleep!

Let’s face it:  It’s a struggle to even begin to understand what disposable diapers are made of.

You don’t even know what questions to ask of manufacturers.

We’ve all done it:

You finally buy diapers because they say they are eco-friendly, plant-based, chlorine-free, and free of harmful chemicals … but your baby ends up with painful diaper rash and you still wonder what kind of chemicals might be seeping into your baby’s bloodstream!

Why on earth is this happening to you?

Here’s the truth! It isn’t your fault!

It takes hundreds of hours of comparative investigation to understand how diapers are made.  Time you do not have.

The truth is that diaper manufacturers are not required by law to disclose the ingredients and materials disposable diapers are made of.

You need a better way to shop for diapers!

You need to be able to choose diapers based on exhaustive comparative research of the main diaper components – not on hype or advertising.   And you need to do it quickly!

Introducing Diaper Rating List e-book!

  • A list of 22 diapers (only 22 because other companies never responded to my questions) with ratings from the safest to the least safe
  • A wallet-sized diaper rating list
  • An analysis document that shows the description and rating for each component within each diaper and an explanation as to how the diaper final ratings were calculated for those who want to dig into the details
  • A guide to help you choose the best diapers based on your individual needs
  • Peace of mind that an independent full-time researcher did exhaustive research into each diaper component

Hi! I’m Irina

I still remember how I thought that Seventh Generation diapers were brown because they were unbleached.  While my mom was helping me with my baby, I was trying to make sense of diapers.  I called diaper manufacturers, and they gave me confusing answers.  And I was exhausted.

Long story short, I wanted to buy the safest products for my baby so I never went back to my financial analyst job.  I dedicated my time and used my analytical background to become a full-time product researcher.  I found my calling to help you make informed decisions.

In my 7-year career as a full-time product researcher, I’ve seen a lot of positive changes in the landscape of consumer product safety.  We make it happen together.  And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and applaud you for that.

Why do you need the 2019 Diaper Rating List ?

  • Every year I update the Diaper Rating List. Manufacturers change their diapers. New companies and diapers emerge while others go out of business. It's important to keep up with these changes to keep our babies healthy!
  • I reach out to every manufacturer. I attempt to contact every manufacturer by email and/or phone to get as much information as possible. I am happy to report that on the whole, it is getting easier to get information from diaper companies
  • By law, diaper manufacturers are not required to disclosed diaper materials/ingredients. And when they voluntarily do, there are still many unknowns.  This Diaper Rating List is the only out there that put pressure on diaper manufacturers to be transparent.
