Neal’s Yard Remedies shampoos and conditioners contain organic ingredients, some of the safest preservatives, and safer surfactants and conditioning agents.
Neal’s Yard Remedies (NYR) company is a United Kingdom company with long traditions of essential oils and plant-based products.
For example, the NYR Seaweed shampoo works very well in hard water. Before installing a water softener, we had very hard water, and this shampoo was the only one that worked for us. Then, the NYR Nourishing Lavender shampoo seems to be perfect for curly and very dry hair. It is creamy, not sudsy, and resembles a conditioner. And the NYR Nurturing Rose conditioner suits dry and damaged hair and does not flatten the hair. If you have thin hair that gets oily quickly, use a small amount and only on the hair length.
Neal’s Yard Remedies shampoos and conditioners are rated as some of the safest shampoos in my Shampoo and Conditioner Rating List e-book. My husband loves using the NYR Seaweed shampoo.
In addition to Neal’s Yard Remedies shampoos and conditioners, I deem almost all the NYR products safe with the exception of the two newest additions, Rose & Mallow Moisturiser (because of polysorbate 60, an ethoxylated ingredient) and Yarrow & Comfrey Moisturiser (because of polysorbate 60 and phenoxyethanol).
My favorite skincare product by Neal’s Yard Remedies is Frankincense Intense Lift Cream. I noticed significant improvements in my skin.
