Beautycounter tripeptide serum contains many necessary ingredients in the anti-aging beauty routine. They include squalane, bakuchiol, sodium hyaluronate, and panthenol (vitamin B5).  The product preservatives are some of the safest.  As for the peptide used in this facial serum, it is n-prolyl palmitoyl tripeptide-56 acetate.  It contains four amino acids and stimulates collagen production.  Collagen is what our skin needs to be firm, elastic, and radiant.  For more information, read below.

According to Beautycounter, in the clinical study on 31 subjects, there were the following results after 4 weeks of use:

  • Visibly increased skin firmness
  • Increased skin elasticity
  • Improved skin barrier function
  • Decreased the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Increased skin’s luminosity/radiance

Please note that not all Beautycounter products meet my strict safety criteria.  Some of them contain phenoxyethanol and synthetic colorants, and most plant extracts and oils are not organic.  Read my Beautycounter review to see the list of products I approved of at the time of writing (I always encourage you to check the ingredients because manufacturers tend to change them).
