In my opinion, all Badger mineral sunscreen options are safe.  Badger makes a wide variety of mineral sunscreens including baby sunscreens, kids sunscreens, unscented sunscreens, sports sunscreens, and active sunscreens.  They all use non-nano zinc oxide as the active ingredient, which is the most effective UV filter to protect effectively from both UVA and UVB rays.

The downside of the high amount of non-nano zinc oxide leaves a white cast.  The good news is that recently Badger started producing sunscreens with clear zinc oxide.  Clear zinc oxide is made of large particles of zinc oxide that are made of zinc oxide nanoparticles bonded together.

For example, the Badger Company Sport Mineral Sunscreen Cream SPF 40 Unscented contains 22.5% of clear zinc oxide while the Badger Company Active Mineral Sunscreen Cream SPF 30 Unscented has 18.75% of clear zinc oxide.

Additionally, I like the fact that Badger mineral sunscreen products use minimum ingredients and most of them are organic, including organic beeswax.
